The Sword Sisters appear to mostly be just different degrees of battle maniac. It also helps that I felt they were the group whose personality shined the most among the Alliance. Yes, they are evil as fuck, but they are also very entertaining to watch and they bounce off of the protagonists really well. The inclusion of puzzles and the running away parts were also very refreshing.Ĭonsidering he's the one with the most unique gameplay segments, and his huge part in the last chapter, I'd say Kazuya was the protagonist that got the most love in the scenario.įrom the Alliance side, my favorite characters were definitely the Succubus Trio. Kazuya trying to figure out what's going on, and the menacing atmosphere makes for a pretty entertaining segment. In my opinion the chapters with him, Hakunen, the Lampas and the Dream Fox trapped in the Succubus Trio's house are the best part of the collaboration. TBH, from what we've seen of Paradox, Alice 1st is not that much better, but instead of "Its all about me", its "Do whatever you want but keep me company".Īlice and Illias are 2 opposites of the control spectrum: Too much control (illias) and lack of control (Alice), in one side: we have a force that wants to micromanage everything and have no one question her and always defer to her (and thus, give her attention), the other we have a (from what I've gathered) who does fuck all (yes, I know what I did there) about giving limits to their creations AKA restrain and a moral compass so she can be accepted and loved.Įven canon Tamamo said that its for the best that Alice 1st and all others remain locked away. And there was, she did mellow out with actual companions. Which is why I choose her in my first playthrough of Paradox, to see if there was any character development. I imagine making copies of herself didnt make good different POVs until they themselves grew into different personas, but the damage was already done. but with a very good dosage of that being a result of PTSD and fear. Click to shrink. That was kinda the point of her character.
